Yes, it's possible to be a Texas Yankee (though in some parts of the state, saying that could get a gal shot!) I'm a military brat, so I've lived all over the country (Nebraska, Alaska, Arkansas, Sacramento, LA, Philly, & Chicago) - but I do consider Texas to be my home. There's just something about this Southern Culture that can't be found anywhere else!

Do you get the Wild At Heart reference? I'm a huge fan of John Eldredge material, and am on a speaking team that puts on retreats based on the material in Captivating. I do believe that in the heart of every man is a desire for an adventure to be lived, a battle to fight, and a beauty to rescue. And as a woman who is confident (without being overbearing), full of life, love, and joy - I desire to share my heart with a man who has taken the time to discover the desires of his own heart.

I'm a Christian, and my faith is an integral part of who I am. I'm looking for someone who has a growing walk with the Lord, has the ability to see the goofy side of life, and is emotionally healthy. Oh - and you get major brownie points if enjoy Monty Python, Mel Brooks, and The Princess Bride.

I'm this odd mixture of old fashioned and modern values. I'd never expect a guy to open a door for me, but I feel special when he takes the time to do so. I've done well in my career and have my own home - but you can tell that my lawn is mowed by a girl!! I really do enjoy life, and believe it should be lived to the fullest and enjoyed as much as possible!
