I Would Describe Myself As

Hi there! I'm Taz, mother of 3 sons. My oldest son is 28, a musician in Ireland whose first CD was released last year. My other three "sons" are fur-babies: a 14 yr old Samoyed (looks like a polar bear) who's been with me since he was 6 weeks old and a 40 lb German shepherd/border collie mix who was supposed to be much bigger. I love furry animals and would have a farm of them if I could.





Recently some friends had to describe me and the words they used are: generous, energetic, organized, creative, hard working, great sense of humor, fun, and a good cook. I have to laugh at the "good cook" part. I hate cooking and only cook about 5 real meals. I do cook those 5 meals well, so that's what I prepare for get-togethers, and I've managed to fool my friends for years! I am learning to cook healthier meals now that I grow my own herbs and veggies, but some of my cooking adventures do end up in the trash.





I am creative and dabble in many arts--home decor and design, gardening, painting, photography, creative writing and anything else that catches my attention. I love to learn and am always looking for something new to explore.





I enjoy nature walks and exploring caves and beautiful terrains, as well as visiting botanical gardens and historical sites.





My tastes in music vary. I mostly listen to classic rock and country. But I also enjoy Celtic music, jazz, blues, Latin music and some hard rock.





I'm not a big television fan; I just have trouble sitting still for long. But I can say I HATE reality shows. Talk about drama!!! I prefer sit-coms, like Two and a Half Men (with Charlie Sheen, not Ashton Kutcher), The Bill Cosby Show, and Mash, as well as CSI, Law and Order, Hoarders, Real Life Stories of the E.R., and of course the usual chick flicks.





I'm not religious, not a Christian. I just live the best I can and follow my conscience. It's pretty much kept me out of trouble all these years.





Currently I work with a charitable foundation and help organize our charity events. The proceeds from these events help cancer patients. I also work with a medicine assistance program, helping people get their medications for free when they can't afford them. I love that the work I do helps people who need it rather than making Big Business bigger and wealthier.





I live, love, work, and play passionately. I try to experience life fully, appreciating the world around me, finding enjoyment in each day. I wake up in a good mood because any day I wake up is a good day. I can't guarantee that a life with me would be drama-free. Life is a series of dramatic events, if you live it right; if you're not feeling, you're not living. And when you put two passionate souls together, there's bound to be some drama, some fireworks. Not necessarily a bad thing, is it?





If you're not scared yet, you may just be able to handle a sassy little devil like me. LOL I'm looking for a SERIOUS relationship. Let's face it, at this age, I've got to get serious about the future--what may left of it. I'm not looking for a chat buddy or a one night stand. I'm looking for a lifelong relationship. I am looking for someone strong, intelligent, and energetic with a love of life and laughter. I'm usually attracted to tall and big men who work with their hands. Calloused, dirty, greasy hands turn me on. I come from a long line of farmers, mechanics and construction workers, men who can fix or build anything. I can do quite a bit myself, so a man who knows something I don't know is quite appealing. He would take pride in teaching me new skills, perpetuating my independent nature. My Idea Of Fun Is

I love being outdoors. I'm a serious gardener--my entire yard is a botanical garden. I love getting dirty, digging holes, smelling the roses, getting high on various mints, and eating grape tomatoes warmed by the sun.

I also enjoy exploring caves and new territories as well as hiking and hanging out anywhere near water.

Anytime I can learn some new tricks or new info is a wonderful time. I'm very curious about everything and love trying new foods, new activities, new cities, etc.

I also enjoy animals, so country living with a farm of horses, cats and dogs would be ideal too. I'd love to watch the birth of a colt or groom a horse.

I am looking for a long-term relationship which may eventually lead to a "forever" marriage. I'm not here to play games or waste time; at our age, we just don't have time to waste.
