I Would Describe Myself As

I have a career in advertising and have enjoyed several highlights along the way. I get pleasure from quite a lot of things about my chosen field: the outgoing and talented people that it attracts, the collaboration and cohesion of a team approach, the creativity, energy and brainstorming, and getting to great solutions that answer the communications challenge. Personally, I need to always be learning in order to be stimulated and advertising meets that need, as we must become knowledgeable about each clients’ particular business.

I love many different genres of music. I read economics, dark humor, non-fiction war coverage, sci-fi, news magazines and e-zines, and the odd light fiction. [Secret craving and passion: Architectural Digest.] I’ve taken many trips and have had a lot of adventures including body-surfing in Hawaii, roaming the cobble-stone streets in Mexico at 2 in the morning, and what happened in Boston was both magnificently rewarding and a very close call! Travel stays on my “to do” list. I really love water and the cool bliss of slow “island time”. I love sharing meals. I am not Nigella Lawson in the kitchen but I’d be open to a lesson or two and I will wash dishes. ;)

My greatest passions are my family and friends. While I do not have any children, I have a young niece who rocks my world and a godson whom I thoroughly adore as well. I am blessed and rich beyond measure with many wonderful and amazing friends who bring me love and joy.

I have had two significant relationships, which means I’ve learned what kind of man I want to bring into my life. It’s not that complicated, really – I’m just looking for an enlightened grown-up who is interested in a solid relationship along with a good time. (Full disclosure: I have a constant need to be amused and having fun.) Major integrity and genuine kindness are essential.

I have a playful personality. I’m positive, optimistic and naturally happy by nature. I’m enterprising and decisive. I like facts, logic and rational people. I’m attracted to intelligence and humor. I find the charitably inclined irresistible.

I feel it is important to do something to benefit the planet. I’ve done that in small ways but hope to do it in even bigger ways. My dreams for the future are about that. Spirituality is important to me. I’ve been exploring a relationship with God for the last few years.
