I'm a creative bohemian at heart - but I'm grounded and balanced too. Life to me is one big opportunity, and I like to pull a Jack Kerouac on occassion, willing try anything at least once. I have a successful career in the media/entertainment industry and it’s given me experiences that are not on the average person’s travel itinerary. - think hanging out with geishas in Kyoto, buzzing around in a bush plane in Alaska. I enjoy being active, whether it’s walking, jogging, or canoeing. (I don’t get a lot of that last one in the city, by the way.)

Some things I love: Great food (even taste buds need to travel too), caffeine in any form, alternative and foreign films (I love deconstructing a flick with a friend almost as much as watching it), cultural events, lecture series (yes, I meant to type that!), and a wide variety of music. My roots are in the original punk scene, but I've expanded to many genres including jazz (Dave Brubeck’s Take Five is the essence of cool.)

So what about you?: I don’t have an “ideal type” when it comes to men…I truly appreciate the full spectrum because you can find amazing things in unpredictable packages. Now all that being said, if you think you possess above average intelligence, a dry witty sense of humour, an acute awareness of current affairs, a sense of adventure, a flair for the obscure and offbeat, a deep appreciation for arts and letters, a warm heart, and a fiery passion, you will definitely have a leg up. But in the end, it ultimately comes down to chemistry, and you can’t define or predict that – which makes life so unexpectedly wonderful.
