My father passed away when I was 15 years old. My mom, brother, and I have been doing very well since then considering the unexpected circumstance. I held my father as he died. Try being okay after that..
It's been hard. Very hard. And it seems to get harder for me every year. I'm a strong willed person.. When it happened I did things backwards. Instead of grieving I wanted to be the strong one.. Get back on my feet.. Look after everyone else. It sucks that he wasn't here to see me get my license.. or graduate from High School.. or see me finish college... And it sucks that he won't be here to give me away at my wedding and hold my children. But you know something? My dad hangs out with God. Can't get much cooler than that.
