Hi everyone I'm Katherine! I recently moved to Illinois in December 2011. For 18 years I lived in Denver, Colorado, about ten minutes from the city. Sadly I dont know many people here yet but I'm looking to change, I need to go out and have a life again! Before I officially moved here to Illinois I started college in Sioux City, Iowa and then I transferred here to Illinois.
I am horrible at starting conversations but I do honestly try but I am pretty good at holding the conversation and I can be very random at times :)
I have big plans for my future and I'm not going to give up no matter what stands in my way. My dream is to be a nurse and specialize in Neonatal. I just found that I have to put this dream on hold due to Allergic reactions. In the meantime I am going to start in a different field in the medical field and once I get everything straightened out I will go back to fullfil my dream!! I may have bumbs in the road but I will NEVER give up and quit on my dreams!!!!
I love sports and going dancing. I played softball and volleyball growing up and I plan to get back into playing volleyball. I also danced for ten years when I was younger and I still love it, it's a passion of mine. I write poetry. I've actually had a poem published and I plan on getting my whole book of poetry published. Swimming, that is another one of my favorite hobbies. I use to swim two miles everyday and working on getting back up to the two miles now. Love hanging out with my little cousins or any kids for the matter.
Even though I am heavier I love to be active. Once my knee injury is resolved and my doctor gives me the okay to work out and get back to life I plan on hitting the gym and changing my life for the better. I'm determined to get in shape and shed some pounds. So guys if any of you have any pointers/tips for me let me know. I do have a gym membership.
My ideal match:They are respectful, honest, kind, caring, faithful, non-abusive, will stand up for me when needed. Family oriented, wants kids, has goals, and understands that I have goals and want to achieve them, has a romantic side, and will watch the ocassional chic flick with me. To me looks aren't all the important it's more about the personality. I'm not exactly sure how to say this but I do believe you have to be at least somewhat attracted to their looks in beginning (hopefully you get what I was trying to say.
